The first AACSB-accredited private German University of Applied Sciences
ISM is recognized at the highest international level by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and was the first private German University of Applied Sciences that was awarded the prestigious AACSB accreditation. This is an important international seal of quality which certifies excellence in research and teaching.
The key requirements for receiving the prestigious accreditation were: highest quality in teaching, committed lecturers who proactively support students, successful cooperation with companies and international universities as well as very good career entry opportunities for graduates. The Master in Luxury Fashion Management combines core business management knowledge with different focal points, which qualifies students for?future careers in marketing, international trade, purchasing?or?sales in the luxury and consumer goods industries.
In addition to?project work and study excursions, the Master in Fashion Management also includes a twelve-week?practical phase?(internships). The majority of the lecturers have comprehensive practical experience and work in companies such as?Montblanc, Hugo Boss or Procter & Gamble.

The fashion industry is colorful, diverse and offers you numerous fields of application after your master's degree. In addition to creative designs, fashion requires above all experts in customer needs and economic processes. As a fashion manager, for example, you will be responsible for the marketing of brands and designs, and as a retail manager you will be responsible for managing branches and stores. You can decide for yourself in which area you want to work after your studies by choosing individual specializations such as brand communication, supply chain management, digital marketing or market and consumer psychology.

As a fashion management student, Christina Exner did not choose a typical fashion capital like Paris or London for her semester abroad, but Shanghai. "I was particularly attracted by the idea of experiencing a completely new culture and finding my place in a global metropolis alongside 25 million other people." One of the many highlights for Christina was a visit to Shanghai Fashion Week.


How Can I Apply for the Master in Fashion Management?
The Master of Luxury Fashion Management is?not restricted by a “Numerus Clausus” (NC). Instead, there is an internal entrance test of the university, which tests your motivation, your abilities and your personality structure.
The admission process consists of submitting the application documents, preparing a short case study presentation and an online interview with the program director. We invite you to send your documents for a fast check of your application to a study advisor and then appy for an online admission test.
